The Lumin UV Disinfecting Cleaner operates with a specialized high power UV-C light source, that is targeted at the narrow range of light proven to kill harmful bacteria, viruses, mold and fungus (254nm). This is the same type of light source that is used in hospital operating rooms and sterile clean rooms.
Works on Anything
The Lumin was designed to clean and disinfect your CPAP mask, but it can do much more than that. It is safe to use with your cell phone, your toothbrush, your hair brush, your car keys, and your car wallet. Basically anything that can fit inside that chamber can be disinfected by the UV Light. Quick 5 Min Mask Disinfection
Lumin works by emitting high energy light within a narrow spectrum referred to as UV-C. The Lumin CPAP cleaner relies on a low-pressure, mercury-arc germicidal lamp designed to produce the highest amounts of UV light – where 90% of energy is generated around 254nm. This energy spectrum is very close to the peak of the germicidal effectiveness curve of 265nm, the most lethal wave to microorganisms. The dose of UV-C emitted in one 5 minute cycle is sufficient to kill most bacteria and mold on a surface.

The Lumin requires no replacement supplies whatsoever. The Lumin relies on a special germicidal UV-C bulb that is rated for 9,000 hours. Considering that the Lumin cycle is only 5 minutes, daily use of the device would require a total of 5.5 hours. In other words, the light source in the Lumin should easily outlast the life of the device and should not require changing. In the event, the bulb is damaged replacement bulbs are available.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund less any shipping costs. Items must be returned in their original packaging and in new, resalable condition. If we made a mistake in shipping, we'll cover the shipping cost of returning the product to us. Special order items may not be returned. We will not accept returns on merchandise that has been opened, used, is missing the serial number or UPC from the packaging, or is returned more then 30 days after delivery. Due to the personal nature of Breast Pumps and Bathroom products, no returns will be allowed if product package has been opened. If you would like to make a return or exchange, you must contact us by phone to receive an RMA number before returning your items. Items returned to us without notification will not be accepted.
